Thanks to Richard Prince of Journalisms for writing up the panel I moderated at the Asian American Journalists Association's convention last week in Philadelphia. The topic was "Race Relations in the U.S.: Our Place As AAPI Journalists," and we had an interesting and wide-ranging discussion.
It was an honor and privilege to be on a panel with such terrific writers: Jay Caspian Kang of The New York Times Magazine, Jeff Guo of Vox and Tracy Jan from The Washington Post. I was also thrilled to serve on the convention programming committee, where I worked on the race & identity programming for the conference. Check out Prince's panel writeup here!
